PLANS FOR CAMP WIN-A-FRIEND 2008 ARE UNDERWAY
Camp Location/Date: The men and women of the Louisiana State Police will conduct the summer
resident camp in Holden, Louisiana. There will be four sessions of camp (three sessions for boys and one session
for girls), with each held for five days and four nights. A maximum of 36 children will attend each session.
Selected children will attend the camp session specifically designated for their troop area. (See the Camp
Win-A-Friend Schedule below).
Criteria & Selection of Campers: The age group of the children selected to attend the camps will be boys and girls between the ages of 10 – 12 who have successfully completed the 5th, 6th, or 7th grade. Boys and girls shall not have reached their 13th birthday by date of encampment.
