Patrolman Frank David, Sr.
October 9, 1933

On October 9, 1933, a motorcycle accident in Vermilion Parish claimed the life of Highway Patrolman Frank David, Sr. Patrolman David attempted to signal the driver of a loaded rice truck to pull over and was struck by the truck.

At the time of his death, Patrolman Frank David, Sr. was 41 years old and had been a member of the Louisiana Highway Patrol for approximately five years.
