Relay for Life

Relay For Life is a fun-filled overnight event designed to celebrate survivorship and raise money for research and programs of the American Cancer Society. During the event, teams of people gathered at the Lake Charles Civic Center to take turns walking or running laps. Each team tries to keep at least one team member on the track at all times. Troop D had a team of 15-20 troopers, wives, children and radio dispatchers who volunteered for the event. Master Pilot John Kennedy flew in for the LSP team to show off the helicopter.
