2005 Toy Drive

Public Safety Services has once again helped the Salvation Army provide Christmas for those children who would not have had a Christmas otherwise. This year, we enjoyed additional support from the California Highway Patrol who shipped many toys for the cause. The the toys were given to over 3,800 children in East Baton Rouge, West Baton Rouge, Iberville, Ascension and Livingston Parishes. The children in the FEMA trailer park in Baker were also included. Pictured above are some of the toys the Department of Public Safety employees donated. Year after year the DPS employees give generously to this cause.
