Tank TRuck Emergency REsponse Workshop

This 16-hour course is dedicated to tank truck emergency response and was designed with the fire service and emergency response community in mind.

STTS has gathered a unique collection of Cargo Tank Models, Props, Simulators and combined them with a multi-media presentation to facilitate a state of the art training experience that will be remember for years to come. The Cargo Tank Truck Replicas and Training Modules, that STTS brings into the classroom are hands-on props that were designed for the students to be able to operate and experiment with.

Course Fees:

Free for Local, State, and Federal First Responders
$449 for Industrial / private first responders

Lodging at JESTC

 

*No On-site Lodging at Fort Polk Location

Lodging is $45 per night for double occupancy, or $70 per night for single occupancy.   Please note that there are other courses going on during that time, so rooms may be on a limited basis.   If you are attending the course with other personnel from your department, please inform the staff when making room reservations so that you can be placed in a room with someone from your department.   For room reservations please contact Sabrina Sentino at 225-658-7222 or sabrina.sentino@dps.la.gov

Confirmation:

You will receive a confirmation letter once your registration has been processed.
LSP/DPS Personnel are required to submit an application online. Submitting the application confirms your position in the class.
LSP/DPS Personnel are also required to complete a Training & Travel Application and receive approval through their chain of command.
