4 Hour Intoxilyzer 5000 Recertification Course

Starting January 1, 2008 we will be implementing a few changes that I believe will allow more flexibility in scheduling personnel for Intoxilyzer Recertification. There is also an obvious benefit to the officers either getting off or coming onto shift. Instead of two classes per day at 0900 and 1300, we will be offering 3 classes per day at 0700, 1300 and 1700.

Along with this change we are also implementing a registration process for Intoxilyzer Re-Certification. Attendees will be required to sign up for the class best suited for them and their shifts. There is a possibility of classes being cancelled If no officers are registered for the class. It will be crucial for the Intoxilyzer operators to keep track of their expiration dates so they do not lapse. As a back up, we will be offering more recertification dates at the LSP Academy than in past years. Please do not hesitate to call if you have any questions.

Training Hours:	Classes begin at 0700, 1300, and 1700.
Course Fees:	Tuition is free. This course is funded by the DWI Testing and Maintenance Fund.
Course Requirements:	It is recommended that you attend a class date a couple months before the end of the certification period. If your card is expired by more than 6 months you must attend the 16 hour certification class.
